This guide provides steps for restoring messages and folders that were accidentally moved to the Deleted Items folder, as well as steps for how to recover messages when the Deleted Items folder was emptied.

Restore a deleted email
Navigate to your email on your computer
If you accidentally delete a message, you can easily click on your “Deleted Items” folder and select any message(s) that you wish to restore. You can then click-and-drag the selected messages from the “Deleted Items” folder to any other folder.
Restore a deleted folder
When a folder is accidentally deleted, it becomes a subfolder of the “Deleted Items” folder. You can easily expand the “Deleted Items” folder to view any folders that were deleted.
You can then click-and-drag the selected folder from the “Deleted Items” folder to its original location.
Recover Deleted Items
In the event your “Deleted Items” folder is empty, or if the message you’d like to restore was purged from the “Deleted Items” folder, you will need to use the “Recover Deleted Items” feature.
When a message has been deleted from the “Deleted Items” folder, it will be recoverable for 30 days via the “Recover deleted items” feature.
To use the “Recover deleted items” feature, click on your “Deleted Items” folder and select “Recover deleted items from Server” in the toolbar at the top
Some web browsers may block pop-up windows. You’ll need to allow pop-ups to proceed.
A new window will appear. This window will list all recoverable messages. Select the messages you wish to recover, then click on “Recover” in the top right of the window.
You will be asked to confirm this action. Click “OK” to recover the messages you selected.
